Groups

There are over 25 interest groups to choose from, offering a wide variety of subjects.

Groups are at the heart of the U3A movement. Through them members meet to share and enjoy learning. Lasting friendships are made through a common interest or desire to take part in something new. The aim of any u3a is to offer cultural, educational, physical and recreational learning for those no longer in full time employment.

The groups are run by members who have volunteered their knowledge and expertise, so learning is in a non-formal adult learning environment.
