The Alternative Arts and Crafts Group started some years ago as a ‘spin-off’ from the Watercolours Group, to give the opportunity to those members who wanted to pursue various art and craft activities. We encourage members to use a variety of paints and techniques e.g. watercolours, acrylics, pastels, pens and pencils. Craft activities have included tapestry, crochet work, card making, mosaics and jewellery. We share our skills, knowledge and experience to help other participants and can teach beginners who would like to learn about watercolours.
